Dubai Humanitarian and the University of Birmingham Dubai have forged a
strategic partnership. This collaboration is dedicated to advancing research
and creating innovative educational programs that focus on humanitarian action
and sustainability within humanitarian supply chains. This alliance signifies a
crucial step toward enhancing educational, research, and practical initiatives
between the two prestigious institutions, aiming to tackle some of the world’s
most urgent challenges through innovative solutions and teamwork.
Joint Research Initiatives
The partnership seeks to leverage the strengths of
both Dubai Humanitarian and the University of Birmingham Dubai by driving
collaborative research projects in vital areas. These include sustainable
supply chains, urban planning, innovative construction methods, and food
security. Furthermore, the two organizations will co-create Continuing
Professional Development (CPD) programs to elevate the skills and knowledge of
their staff and students, ensuring the most current practices are implemented
in humanitarian operations.

provision of internship opportunities at Dubai Humanitarian specifically for
students from the University of Birmingham Dubai, with a particular emphasis on
